The Traveling Cat: Antonov Down

$4.80

The US had just suffered its first-ever military defeat in Vietnam. The CIA was doing what they could to slow the up to 35,000 Cuban troops in South Africa. The American President not looking for another Vietnam, ordered the CIA out of South Africa. At the end of our pullout from South Africa, there were three Americans left behind, Jim’s best friend Carson being one of the three. Jim would attempt to buy Carson’s freedom or free him by any means. Jim enlists several friends to assist. One such friend is Jim’s Cuban friend Ralph. Ralph’s father was a surviving member of the Brigade of 1400 from the ill-fated Bay of Pigs invasion. Jim’s small brave bunch gets help along their way, what started out as two was now 53 brave men. The attempted rescue had a surprise ending that more than pleased the Bay of Pigs survivors.

I have had a very positive, rewarding and professional experience with EC Publishing. With the help of my Marketing and "Advertising Specialist, Sam Meyer, I have been able to reach many potential buyers, social media outlets and brick and mortar stores. I am very fortunate to be the cover story in this year's Christmas issue of EC Magazine, and also had a six day run with an ad on an electronic billboard in Times Square. I look for to working with Sam and the rest of the EC staff going forward to maximize my potential as an author and illustrator."
